The dress arrived from our manufacturer today, and it is so cute! We just need to do some additions to it, and the photoshoot. I took a pic but all i had was my phone, and it wasn’t true to the pink. But photos will be soon!
The official winner will be announced tomorrow~ I just really wanted to take the time out though and really thank everyone who took time to submit. NONE of the entries went unappreciated and admired for one thing or another. Even if we thought you were stunning, something put may have put you on another list for future projects. It’s Halloween time…so that means GHOST/PARANORMAL STORIES~! We want to hear your encounters with the paranormal! (real or fake…) These stories can be scary, cute, or endearing. To enter all you have to do is submit a story to our fb via message, email (Milky-Pop@live.com) with the subject of ‘MP’s Halloween Giveaway’, or if you’ve been following us long enough, fan mail it to us! The contest will end Oct. 22nd!
So what do you get for winning? A baby doll t-shirt featuring our Halloween inspired cookies *as seen above* with an extra special Ghost cookie added on. As well as pink handled Dowsing Rods to match the Halloween spirit! What are dowsing rods? Dowsing rods have many purposes, but for investigating paranormal hot spots, they can be used to detect spirits via electromagnetic fields. Our tumblr may look weird for a few…its changing into Halloween mode!
Things for M☆P have been really crazy! I just thought I should say, even if we don’t make updates everyday things are still happening! We love you all and your support is very much appreciated. Behind this tumblr we are working with other business with collabs, other models for future products, and talking with our seamstress about samples, so that we can send them to our manufacturer. Our manufacturer is in china and a very small team, which works best for us for now. They are a really talented team of seamstresses that are pretty well known, and they’ve been helping us a great deal. We can’t release new details every day, because things have to be ironclad for us to say anything to make it fair for others and you all! As soon as we are able we do announce details though! I hope you all look forward to what we hope is a great upcoming year for us! If you have questions, feel free to ask~

VICKY - Okay ! So, what does fashion means to me ! So you will have the chance to hear the story of my life right now ! Lucky you, hihihi !~ (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o))) Back in my primary school ! My friends and I were a bit isolated from the rest of the class. We were the only ones who didn’t wear any make up already, and blah blah blah.. I don’t know why, but at this very moment, I start to hate fashion, because the time wasn’t always happy at school ! I wanted to be different from the other girl, who were almost all the same ! Then, my friends and I have start to wear a lot of black clothes, ( Mh.. Well.. I said my friends and I but I was mostly only following them. xD ) but at the same time, I was wishing I could wear cute clothes and cute bows.｡◕‿◕｡ At the same time, I start to discover Japaaan, everything start with cosplay ( cosplay -> animé -> cover of anime song -> groupdub -> idols -> japan culture -> HARAJUKU. ) Well.. XD I first saw pictures of Decora, and WOW. Seriously. I can’t explain this feeling ! I was like: OMG. Somewhere, awesome fashion exist ! I want to wear THIS. Ｏ(≧▽≦)Ｏ But at the beginning, I was really too scared. I remember the first time I wear just a LITTLE MINI MINI bow in my hair at school. Aaaaawn. I was SO nervous. Same thing when I firt wear ONE multicoloured bracelet. It takes me almost two years to become more confident. And last year, I discover Spank, and finally Fairy Kei, and I was like : Okay. This is it. IT’S PERFECT. (｡
‿｡) So I grow my confident a lot ! I’m so happy that now, I can express my need to be different from everyone, but my inside needed of cuteness at the same time ! And well, I realized that my fear of being stared at a lot was not important at all, because when you wear a style that you love a lot, you’re good ( Daaah. I don’t know the word to use here, but I hope you will understand what I want to say ! ) with yourself, so you don’t even realized that people look at you in a weird manner or things like that. *(*´∀｀*)☆ It’s hard to explain, especially in English ! But that’s the point. ^^’ How being a part of MP would affect this ?.. Well.. As I said, it has been really hard for me to grow up my confidence, and I feel like if I join MP it will give me that extra confident to really take myself as I am ! o((*^▽^*))o Because, I know I’m not neither the cutest, and the best at coordination, but I just feel that it would be awesome and it will help me to persevarate with Fairy Kei and all the cute harajuku style ! And I’m really sur that my love for japanese fashion will grow more, even if it’s alreay super high !~ ヾ(＠^∇^＠)ノ
HIROKY - To me, fashion is an expression, and expression of our feelings and soul, I think it’s a way to express who we are,how we feel and help to understand each other. Being part of milky pop would be very important to me because I want to share this to everyone, I want to let them know that we have to be confident, feel happy with who we are and feel free to express our selves, I think that if we are happy and dress as we like/feel/are the world will be a beautiful open minded and enjoyable place.
POPKU - I love fashion. I can’t go outside without a loud outfit to bump up my confidence. You’d think alot of people would laugh, but I don’t care. If I feel I look cute, I get this lovely feeling no one can bring down! I’m a pretty sleepy person, so that’s why I put my “You being you” picture with me lying around. It’s fun to laze around with your favorite magical girls and stuffed animals around you, don’t you think?~ Being apart of Milky pop would allow me to have something fun to look back on. I always see cute girls and say, “I wanna be like them.” However, I’ve never had the chance. I think being able to model cute clothes that make me feel good, and make me feel myself would be the very best! I’ve found myself in these cute clothes and I want other girls to find themselves too. ♡
LALA - Fashion is a way of art, expression, life and being. I like feeling that I can put on any piece of clothing, whether it be an Angelic Pretty dress or some pastel goth type ensemble. It makes me feel different and special, like I’m the only me in the world. Being apart of Milky Pop would be an ultra-fun experience, seeing as I’ve never modeled before. I’ve always wanted to try it, so I was like, “let’s give this contest a shot.”
NINA - Hmmm… It’s a hard question♡ I think style and fashion should always be an expression of an individual’s personality and tastes, and is also the expression of the designer and their art ヽ(｡ゝω・｡)ﾉ Fashion is also the capacity you have to make something beautiful with what you found. .+:｡ヾ(o･ω･)ﾉﾟ Fashion is also a passion. You have it or not. If you have it,it’s a pleasure for you to choose what you will wear and coordinate it. If not,you will dress yourself because you have to dress yourself,and that’s a shame XDD. Being a Part of Milky p0p? It would be a unique experience! I’ve already had a little bit of experience as model for some magazine in my country and in France, but when I have a photoshoot, it’s not always for what I like to wear. Conciliating my love for modeling with my other love for Japanese harajuku fashion would be fantastic ☆ PS:Sorry for poor english,i’m french afterall!
These 5 girls spoke to us for various reasons, personality, style, etc. We received some OUTSTANDING entries and it took us all evening to come to this conclusion. We want to thank each and every person who took the time out of their life to participate. It really isn’t going unnoticed or unappreciated.
